It is already autumn in these parts, a rainy afternoon best suited for staying indoors and drinking tea and listening to music. But perhaps it is also a good day to share this amazing wedding that I was lucky to be a part of in early August. A marriage between two warm and generous people, Catherine and Aiden, in the middle of the medieval city of Kilkenny, Ireland.

I’m grateful I got to be part of their big day, to be able to share afterwards all these photos with them, to help them remember their day that probably went faster than they could have imagined. They will have their memories for as long as they live and I am certain everyone that was there with them will remind them through the years. Yet sometimes, photos can bring you back in an instant to a time and place in such a way that few other things can. To bring something long gone in to the present and help you realize, in the midst of everyday life, what you have together.
