I was talking to Suzanne & Ronan in August last year after her brother’s wedding when they asked me if I wanted to shoot their wedding in August this year. It was the first wedding I booked for this wedding season and not only was I excited to come back to Ireland for this specific purpose, but I was very happy to shoot their wedding as they are great people, warm and generous and I knew this one was going to be a great event.
Suzanne & Ronan got married in the town of Skibbereen in beautiful West Cork in Ireland where Suzanne grew up and where they both now live. It is an amazing place, and it is not only the locals who consider it to be one of the most beautiful parts of Ireland.
The wedding itself was a family occassion, followed by a party like no other for both friends and family at the West Cork Hotel. It was obvious that a great time was had by all and it carried on until early morning.
I’m honored by the trust placed in me to capture this event and I couldn’t be happier to see these two amazing people tie the knot.
Go raibh míle maith agaibh!

[…] Suzanne and Ronan tied the knot at the Abbeystrewry Church in Skibbereen, West Cork where the bride’s family live. After saying I do the couple slipped away for some portraits with their photographer Mathias Cederholm. Mathias took them to some super cool places for some truly memorable shots, from the Liss Ard Estate and an old railway bridge to the industrial Roycroft Cycles building which has been owned by the brides father’s family. To see more cool shots from Suzanne and Ronan’s big day check out the full blog post here. […]

I think they got them in a toy store in Ireland. They are called ”The Sylvanian Families” and come in all shape and forms.
