Summer is soon upon us again, and seeing these photos again makes things a little bit more bearable at the moment. This wedding is from early august last year, it was a beautiful day.
During winter, you tend to forget that sunny days like these, one of the hottest days of the summer of 2013 can even occur in Sweden. They can. Most couples hope for great weather, and they got just that. Sometimes, too hot can be a problem too though, especially when dressed in suits for the occasion. Working a full day in that heat can be hard work too. Fortunately, later in the evening, there was a bit of rain that cleared the sky and made things cool down, luckily at a time when all outdoors activities had reached an end.
Sofie & Fredrik got married in Badelunda Kyrka outside Västerås, an old medieval church very popular in the area for weddings. Some artifacts in the church go back as long as the 13th century. The reception and the following party was held across the street in the old school, Badelunda Kyrkskola.
Great set. Love the one of the dress framed in the doorway.
Lovely set – LOVE that first portrait of the bride and groom! 🙂
The last black and white ceremony shot of them is fantastic! Beautiful couple and beautiful church.
