Saturday morning, me and a friend went for a walk down in the area of the old power plant in Västerås. A place I haven’t been to for a long time. These days they have built an activity center there with a huge water world, relax and café, but the old worn look is still there, speaking of the past, decades ago, when people worked here to provide heating and electricity to the city.
It has been an abandoned site for decades, but it is slowly coming back to life. I happen to like the old worn industrial look, so it was a treat to come here and take some pictures before it all looks fancy.
Unfortunately, it was a bit too hard to get into the old buildings, so these are from the outside and the harbour infront of it.
