Sometimes, it can take time to find your passion.
Despite having a fun job and amazing collegues, something was stuck there, in the back of my mind, trying to catch my attention.
Without knowing what I was looking for, I decided to go deep and wide to find out.
I packed my camera, a notebook and a pair of underwear and jumped on a plane heading east. India, Thailand, Laos, South Korea and onwards to Australia, the US and finally back to Europe and Sweden again.
I was back where I had started, but not the same, as when I had started. I took off to explore the world and find something out there, I changed and grew as a person. In the end, that something found me.
Back again, in 2011, I founded Mathias Cederholm Photography and set my eyes on making it on my own, not sure if I could do it for a year, or ten years. Or even if I would get any clients whatsover. I was, however, willing to give it a shot.
In March 2013, I went All In as a full time photographer and business. The clients did come, and now, 9 years later, I’m still going.
