I got to know Helene when we started working together back in the fall of 2007, and over the years we have become good friends. Helene is a terrific collegue, always in a good mood and ever helpful, no matter how much she’s got on her own plate. I’m not sure that she understands herself how good she is. It didn’t take long to find out what was going on when she met Rickard and when it got serious.

When I found out they were getting married, I couldn’t let the opportunity pass me by to shoot their wedding. As I guessed, the day was brilliant and it was an honor to follow them throughout the day.
At the start, it looked like it would be a dark day with thunder and rain and I desperately tried to come up with a Plan B and a Plan C (just in case), yet as if by magic, the clouds parted and the day turned warm and sunny as we left the beauty salon. When I spoke to Helene on the Friday before the wedding, I could hear the stress and tension in her voice but on Saturday morning she was relaxed and happy and things moved along fine, it turned into a great evening and a crazy party that lasted until the sun came up.
I was pretty tired by then, but I wish it could have lasted even longer…
