Here are a few photos from a June wedding out in Sandhamn. It was a warm and sunny day, the same weekend as the Gotland Runt races, where sail boats start at Sandhamn, head down to the island of Gotland, round it and then head back to Sandhamn. Needless to say, the island was packed with people and the harbour was full of sail boats in different shapes and sizes. Ice cream melted faster than you could eat it and the Stockholm archipelago never looked more beautiful.
I have been to Sandhamn before, but in March, which is not the ideal time of the year to go there. Coming out by boat to the island and stepping ashore, I quickly saw what a beautiful place it is in the summer and why it is so popular among sailers. It is also a great setting for a wedding.
Eva & Thomas got married on the cliffs overlooking the harbour on this bright sunny day together with their closest friends and families. In the evening, they had dinner at Sands Hotell where they were also staying.
Thank you Eva & Thomas for having me there that day.
