Deborah & Callum come from Scotland. Deborah work as an architect and Callum as a product designer and both are big fans of Swedish design. They are also in to the Swedish music scene and having been to Sweden before, they decided they wanted to get married in Stockholm with Sweden as their backdrop.
They contacted me in early spring to have me shoot their Stockholm Elopement in May, which I was happy to do. An Elopement is when you run off from home to get married without telling anyone about it (think Pride and Prejudice by Jane Austen). It used to be something not approved of, but this time it was most likely more to do something private.
We decided to start by Stockholm City Hall where they were getting married. We started off with some portraits outside and after the ceremony we moved on by foot through the city, stopping by the beautiful buildings and places on the way for more portraits. We had great fun walking through the city and managed to get a lot of good shots before I left them at Operakällaren where they were having dinner.
Thank you for trusting me to take your pictures.
