When I got a message on my facebook page from Lina, I hadn’t heard from her in over ten years. We used to work at the same place during our time in college and I remembered her as a warm, caring person and a good worker that got things done without a fuss. Now she was getting married to her English gentleman Ben. From the start, I was sure this was going to be a beautiful wedding with friends from both England and Sweden meeting in a very spectacular place, Schenströmska Herrgården outside the small mill town Ramnäs. Not sure why I felt that way, maybe it was intuition, but I immediately felt that we would be a great match.
The day was cloudy but beautiful and everyone was impressed with the area. The wedding was a blast with a mix of vintage, countryside mansion and old Industrial buildings. We got some very unique portraits in the old factory where the ceremony was held. Afterwards, the toast took place on the big mansion terrace, followed by dinner. When I left, they were getting ready for a midnight swim in the lake.
The day turned out to be just as good as I had expected. Lina & Ben really planned a great wedding that felt grand yet intimate with a personal touch.
I am very grateful for the opportunity to be part of a day like this.
